Assoc. Prof. Durgaprasad Bhandari is the Principal of Nepal Engineering College. He received his B.E. in Electronics from Nagpur University in 1998 and M.Sc. in Information and Communication Engineering, and has been serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering since 2001. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Politécnica de Cartagena, Spain. He is a Fellow (F-1225010) and Chartered Engineer (M-1561914) of The Institution of Engineers (India), Associate Member (A 534804-9) of the Institution of Engineers (India), Life Member (LM 44511) of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), and a Registered Engineer (98 Electronics) with the Nepal Engineering Council. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in numerous national and international projects with multidisciplinary collaborations and has successfully managed four international projects funded by the European Commission’s Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) program. With more than five scientific publications in diverse fields, he has also actively contributed to and organized several international conferences, faculty development programs, training sessions, and workshops.
